First Saturday Requirements

In order to meet the requirements for the First Saturday Devotion, a person must, on each First Saturday of the month for five consecutive months:

1. Go to Confession (within eight days before or after the First Saturday);
2. Receive Holy Communion;
3. Pray five decades of the Rosary;
4. Keep company with Our Lady for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary;

When carrying out the aforementioned steps of this devotion, the communicant should have the primary intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the offences committed against her.
